Margaritas
salt rimmer
The best-loved in Mexico, the Margarita,
was first made in a Chihuahua bar.

Tequila's popularity
has exploded in the last few years
and the Margarita
is the most popular way tequila is consumed.

Margaritas are now made
in a mind-boggling array of flavors and colors.

Margarita's are often served frozen but are also
very good served on the rocks.

Another good way to serve them
is to use a shaker glass
with a strainer and pour into chilled martini glass.

*** Salt on the rim is optional.

A lime ( wedge, wheel, or squeeze )
is the traditional garnish
and is optional as well.

These have not been noted
in the following recipes
and a garnish is noted only
if it varies from the traditional.
