1 Cup Watermelon; Cut Up
1 Cup Cantaloupe Or Honeydew; *
1 Cup Pineapple; Cut Up
1 Cup Mango; Cut Up
1 Cup Strawberries; Halved
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Orange Juice
Crushed Ice
* Melon should be cut up.
Mix all ingredients except ice.
Fill blender container 1/2 full of mixture.
Add crushed ice to fill to the top.
Cover and blend on high speed
until of a uniform consistency.
Repeat with remaining mixture.
Serve immediately;
garnish with fruit, if desired.
Strawberry Frappe
1 cup Strawberries rinsed and caps removed
1/2 cup Non-fat vanilla frozen Yogurt
3/4 cup Spring water
1-2 Tbs. honey or brown sugar
2 Ice cubes
Place all ingredients in blender,
except ice cubes.
Blend for 10 seconds then add ice cubes;
blend for another 30 seconds.
Pour and enjoy.
Banana-Strawberry Frappe
1 cup cold milk
8 ounces strawberry yogurt
2 bananas
1 tablespoon lemon juice
* Use a blender or food processor for this recipe.
Put all ingredients in blender and
turn to puree mode until
of desired consistency.
(Make only about 2 servings at one time
so the blender will not be overfilled.)
If using a food processor,
use the steel knife to process;
8-10 seconds will be sufficient.
Serve in a tall glass.
Spanish Fresh Fruit Frappe
1 cup watermelon -- diced
1 cup cantaloupe -- cubed
1 cup pineapple -- diced
1 cup mangos -- sliced
1 cup strawberries -- halved
1 cup orange juice
1/4 cup sugar
Mix all the ingredients.
Fill blender 1/2 full of mixture
and fill to the top with crushed ice.
Cover and blend on high speed
until a uniform consistency is achieved.
Repeat with remaining mixture.
Serve immediately,
garnishing with fresh fruit if desired.
Maple Frappe
1 pint butter pecan ice cream
1/4 cup half and half
1/4 cup maple syrup
cinnamon ( optional )
Combine first three ingredients in blender
and blend until smooth.
Pour into glasses.
Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
