Banana Bread
(Panqúe de Plátano)

1 1/2 C. flour 
1 tsp. baking Soda 
1 tsp. baking Powder 
2 sticks of butter (200 grs) 
2 eggs 
6 ripe bananas, mashed 
1/ C. chopped nuts 
Preparation:


Sift together the flour, 
baking powder and baking soda. 

Cream the butter with the sugar until smooth 
and fluffy then add the egss one at a time 
beating well after each addition. 

Alternately add the dry ingredients 
and the banans a bit at a time,
mixing with a spoon until 
all the ingredients are well blended. 

Add the chopped nuts last. 

Bake in a greased and floured loaf pan 
in a 175°C oven until a toothpick inserted 
in the center comes out clean
 (approximately 1 hour).
