Brownies


Luscious Chocolate Brownies

  
4 ounces unsweetened 
baking chocolate
1 cup unsalted butter
2 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup pecans -- chopped
2 teaspoons vanilla

Heat oven to 350 degrees.  
Butter a 13x9-inch pan.
Melt chocolate and butter 
in microwave at 50%, 
stirring often; cool.
Beat sugar and eggs 
in a large bowl until 
light and fluffy 
(2-3 minutes).  
Gradually whisk 
chocolate mixture
into egg mixture.  
Stir in flour, nuts, 
and vanilla by hand.
Spread batter evenly in pan.  
Bake for 25-35 minutes 
or just until set. 
DO NOT OVERBAKE!  
Cool completely.
