Plum wines are very popular in Japan where the humid climate is perfect for growing plums. They have a sweetness from the fruit and sometimes a slight almond flavor from the fruit pit being included in the fermentation.
SAKE - This is not really a wine. It is refermented rice that was brewed as a beer. It is colorless and has an alcohol content similar to wine.
